佛教历史 Buddhist History

Buddhist art includes not only depictions of the Buddha, but also bodhisattvas where visual art produced in the context of Buddhism.  Depictions include notable Buddhist figures both historical and mythical, narrative scenes from their lives, mandalas, and physical objects and artefects associated with Buddhist practice, such as vajras, bells, stupa and Buddhist temple architecture.
